Class Work
  1. Each student comes up with an idea for a store. What kind of store would it be? Name your store and draw your store window. Then think about the items you would stock in your store. Also, make up prices for the items.
  2. Students present the drawings of their store windows, and promote their stores to the class. The class can ask questions about the stores, the items for sale and their prices.

I would open a bakery called "Lisa's Bakery".
What kind of desserts would you sell?
I would sell delicious freshly-baked pies because pie is my favorite dessert.
How much would a pie cost?
Each pie would cost about $10.
That sounds pretty good. I'd try one of your pies.
Great! I'd need to be careful that I don't eat too many of those pies myself!
