Prepositions of place are used to answer the question of Where? At, on and in are three important prepositions of place.

When you are referring to a general location — at home, at school.
什么时候该用at?
当提到一个大体方位时——在家、在学校。
When should you use on?
When you are referring to something resting on a surface—on the table, on the wall.

When should you use in?
