uncles and cousins. Draw a simple sketch of each family member, and then write his/her name and

Culture Note |
In the U.S., young adults normally move out of the family home after they graduate from secondary school. However, some young adults continue to live with their parents, especially if they continue their studies at university.
In China, it is typical for young adults to stay with their parents until marriage, which usually takes place around the age of about 25 to 30 years old. In Thailand, couples continue to live with their families after marriage, often with the husband's family but sometimes with the wife's family. Extended families often live together under the same roof — grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins — though this is less common for urban Thai families.
