Grammar Note

In Unit 5, you learned how to express preferences. When you say something is your favorite, you express the strongest preference for something. Words like very, all-time, and most before favorite can add even more emphasis. Comparative forms like more than and less than, and superlative forms like the most and the least can be used to express preferences and degrees of preference.
在第五单元，你学习了如何表达喜好。当你说某个事物是你的favorite，你表达了对它最大的喜爱程度。very，all-time，和most放在favorite前面可以增加强调的力度。比较级more than和less than，最高级the most和the least可以用来形容喜爱和喜爱的程度。
