Exercise, food and health through history

Sports have been important in every culture through all of history. The Incas and Aztecs in South America played a form of soccer. Races were held in Egypt and Greece. The Romans thought that a healthy, strong body helped maintain a healthy mind. People who are active physically are often also active mentally. Exercise and good food are necessary to keep us healthy and feeling good. A regular

system of exercise should be part of everyone's life.

What is the connection between exercising, food, and healthy bodies and minds?
    Preparation time: 30 seconds

Do you agree with the way the girls solved their problem of getting together to study? Why?
    Preparation time: 20 seconds

Possible answer: I agree because if you have to complete a project for school with a friend, it doesn’t matter in whose house you meet. If my friend can’t come to my place, I can go to his or hers. As Mirta went to Jenn’s house, they could also look after Jenn’s sister at the same time.

Or doing it in the evening is good to help you feel better after a day of work or study. It depends on your preferences, but whatever you do it should be something regular, too.
