Class Work
  1. Students look through magazines and cut out pictures of people doing different jobs. They paste each picture on an index card. The teacher collects the cards and places them face-down in a pile at the front of the class.
  2. Students play a game of What's the Job? A student comes up and picks the top card. The class can ask questions about the skills, qualities and abilities needed for the job in order to guess it.
  3. The first student to guess the job correctly then has a chance to come up and pick a card. Continue until every student has had a turn.
